Paras Anti Drone Technologies has secured a ₹22 crore deal with France’s CERBAIR to supply CHIMERA 200 systems — showcasing India’s growing capability in delivering world-class, field-proven counter-UAS technology to global markets.

In a major boost to India’s defence exports, Paras Anti Drone Technologies Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd, has secured a significant international deal with France-based CERBAIR. The European counter-UAV firm has signed a Letter of Intent to procure up to 30 units of the CHIMERA 200 system — a cutting-edge, man-portable RF detection and neutralization solution developed under India’s Make in India initiative.
Valued at approximately ₹22 crore (€2.2 million), the deal underscores India’s emergence as a reliable source of advanced defence technologies. It also aligns with the country’s Defence Production & Export Promotion Policy, which aims to achieve $5 billion in annual defence exports by 2025.
The CHIMERA 200 system, already deployed across India’s critical infrastructure, offers wideband drone detection and neutralization from 400 MHz to 6 GHz across five simultaneous bands. Its modular design allows for omnidirectional and directional operation, low false alarms, and easy upgrades for future threats including IEDs and signal spoofing. Its ability to integrate seamlessly with command-and-control platforms and weapons systems positions it well for international security applications.
Ashutosh Baheti, CEO of Paras Anti Drone Technologies, emphasized the global relevance of the technology: “Our partnership with CERBAIR highlights the trust in Indian-developed counter-UAS solutions. We’re proud to support global security efforts with scalable, high-performance technologies.”
CERBAIR President Lucas Le Bell noted the increasing demand driven by evolving geopolitical threats, especially in Europe. “We see strong potential in CHIMERA 200 as drone threats escalate. Enhancements to its neutralization power will address emerging drone innovations,” he stated.
This partnership is expected to open new avenues for Paras Defence in European markets and beyond, with further deliveries and cooperation planned through 2026. By aligning innovation with global defence needs, Paras Defence is reinforcing India’s position as a future-ready, export-focused defence manufacturing leader.
