Paras Defence has secured a ₹453.2 million order from BEL to supply advanced signal processing and multi-sensor fusion systems, strengthening India’s indigenous air defence electronics capability.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited has secured an order worth approximately ₹45.32 crore (including taxes) from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). The deal underscores the company’s strengthening role in the development of advanced electronic systems for India’s defence sector.
The order covers the supply of Signal and Data Processing Systems and Multi-Sensor Fusion Systems, both of which are critical for next-generation air defence applications. These technologies are designed to enhance situational awareness, integrate multiple sensor inputs, and improve real-time decision-making in air defence operations.
The order, classified as domestic, is to be executed within 29 months or earlier. Paras Defence confirmed that the transaction is not related-party in nature and involves no promoter interest. The disclosure has been filed in compliance with Regulation 30 of Listing Regulations and the SEBI Circular issued in November 2024.
Commenting on the development, Jajvalya Raghavan, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Paras Defence, confirmed the announcement.
The deal highlights Paras Defence’s expanding footprint in complex defence electronics and aligns with India’s push for indigenous development under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. By supplying high-value systems to BEL, the company reinforces its position as a key partner in the domestic electronics and defence manufacturing ecosystem.
With this order, Paras Defence strengthens its portfolio in signal processing and sensor fusion technologies, marking another step in advancing India’s defence readiness through cutting-edge electronic solutions.
