The collaboration aims to strengthen EV infrastructure and support clean mobility goals by installing chargers in residential, commercial, and public spaces.
Servotech EV Infra (Incharz), an EV charging infrastructure company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) to develop and expand electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities across Greater Noida. The agreement was signed by Sanket Srivastava, Head of PMS & Sustainability at NPCL, and Prem Prakash, CEO of Incharz. NPCL is a joint venture between the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.
As part of the partnership, both entities will jointly identify and develop charging stations at locations such as corporate offices, residential complexes, hospitals, and commercial areas. NPCL will assist by recommending suitable locations and coordinating with electricity distribution companies to streamline the installation process and reduce costs and delays.
In the initial phase of the rollout, charging stations have already been installed at two residential complexes. At Stellar Jeevan, 7.4 kW and 10 kW AC chargers have been deployed. At Ace Divino, the infrastructure includes a 40 kW DC charger along with a 10 kW AC charger, enabling the simultaneous charging of three two-wheelers.
Incharz aims to scale its operations through this partnership to support the transition to electric mobility. According to Prem Prakash, CEO of Incharz, the collaboration with NPCL will help extend EV charging access and improve last-mile service delivery for users. The company also sees this partnership as part of a larger plan to integrate clean energy systems into urban infrastructure.
NPCL’s representative, Sanket Srivastava, stated that the collaboration is expected to help improve the region’s EV ecosystem by making charging more accessible and integrated with everyday locations. This move is part of a broader effort to create a reliable EV charging infrastructure and support the adoption of electric vehicles in urban areas like Greater Noida.
