Winning a 2.58 MW solar rooftop order, Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd strengthens South Eastern Railway’s renewable energy capacity.
Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd has secured a 2.58 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project from the South Eastern Railway, Ranchi Division. The project marks another milestone in Indian Railways’ commitment to clean energy and reinforces Servotech’s role in driving India’s renewable energy transition.
Under the contract, Servotech will manage the end-to-end execution of the rooftop solar PV project, including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar panels of varying capacities across multiple sites in the Ranchi Division. The initiative aligns with Indian Railways’ broader sustainability objectives aimed at achieving net-zero carbon emissions through large-scale adoption of renewable energy.
Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, said, “We are honoured to once again work with the Indian Railways in their journey toward a cleaner and more sustainable future. This project reinforces the trust Indian Railways places in our expertise and execution capabilities. By leveraging high-performance solar technology, we aim to help South Eastern Railway meet its sustainability goals and set new standards for clean energy adoption in the transport sector.”
The project not only underscores Servotech’s leadership in renewable energy but also highlights Indian Railways’ ongoing efforts to expand solar adoption across its divisions. Together, these efforts contribute significantly to India’s national commitment to a net-zero future, demonstrating the growing momentum of clean energy integration across public infrastructure.
