Expanding global access through a new DigiKey partnership, Silanna will distribute its cutting-edge 10- to 16-bit Plural ADCs.
Silanna Semiconductor, a global leader in analog innovation, has signed a distribution agreement with electronics giant DigiKey to expand the availability of its cutting-edge Plural family of 10- to 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
Under the agreement, DigiKey will offer Silanna’s Plural ADCs worldwide, giving engineers faster access to configurable, high-performance data converters designed to outperform legacy models in cost and lead time.
Silanna’s Plural ADCs feature a patented ResolutionEngine™ that allows each base design to be factory-configured into multiple resolutions, enabling a wide range of SKUs. The platform delivers performance equivalent to traditional ADCs while offering 30% lower pricing and lead times measured in weeks, not months.
Unlike conventional manufacturing, which requires separate fabrication for each ADC variation, Silanna’s scalable architecture provides economies of scale and supply chain resilience, reducing the risk of shortages and delays.
“Only a few legacy brands currently dominate the ADC market,” said Patrick Moore, Vice President of Global Sales & Apps at Silanna. “Our approach introduces true flexibility and efficiency, and this partnership with DigiKey extends that innovation to customers worldwide.”
DigiKey’s Ken Paxton, Director of Advanced Semiconductor, called the addition “a significant win for engineers,” emphasizing that customers can now design with more confidence thanks to Silanna’s faster, cost-effective ADC solutions.
