TVS Electronics shifts beyond retail, launching enterprise-grade AIDC solutions tailored for industrial automation and ERP integration in India.
TVS Electronics (TVSE) has announced the launch of its Enterprise Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) segment, aiming to support Indian businesses in automating operations using affordable, locally supported technologies.
The portfolio includes mobile computers, rugged scanners, high-definition barcode scanners, industrial label printers, and rugged tablets, among other devices. These tools are designed to assist businesses with inventory accuracy, logistics tracking, and data management.
This shift aligns with India’s growing track and trace market, projected to rise at a compound annual growth rate of 21.3% by 2030. Factors driving this growth include the adoption of AIDC technologies and integrated tracking systems across supply chains.
C. Balaji, Vice President of TVSE’s PSG Business, said the firm is repositioning itself to serve enterprise needs with customisable solutions, by building a robust partner ecosystem, we aim to foster customer trust and drive enterprise growth. “We aim to shift from being seen as a retail-first brand to becoming a solutions provider for enterprise automation,” he added.
TVS Electronics’ new strategy includes integration with Enterprise Resource Planning system, (ERP systems) such as SAP and Oracle, and the use of enterprise mobility tools for warehouse and device management. The firm is also collaborating with software providers and system integrators to offer comprehensive automation solutions tailored to industry-specific needs.
Its manufacturing facility in Tumakuru supports faster turnaround and cost control, while its large service network across India ensures hardware upkeep and lifecycle management, including repair and resale options.
