The latest award follows two recent project wins by WRTL: an 800 MWac (1,109 MWp) solar power project and a 291 MWp solar project
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has recently achieved a Letter of Award (LoA) for a 450 MWp solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan
The contract has been awarded to a well-known domestic independent power producer. WRTL will execute the project on a turnkey basis. The award does not constitute a related-party transaction.
The work includes design, engineering, inspection, procurement, supply, delivery, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar power project.
Commenting on the development, Viren Doshi, Whole Time Director, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, said, “This 450 MWp award adds momentum to our order book and shows our ability to take on projects of this scale for large developers. Rajasthan remains one of our most important markets, and Bikaner strengthens our pipeline in the state. Our focus now is on early mobilisation and commissioning within FY2027-28, as we pursue further solar and storage-linked opportunities.”
The latest award follows two recent project wins by WRTL: an 800 MWac (1,109 MWp) solar power project and a 291 MWp solar project integrated with 280 MWh of battery energy storage. The projects might be completed by FY2027-28.
Bikaner is one of Rajasthan’s key solar energy hubs, supported by the state’s potential for large-scale solar power development. The latest project further strengthens WRTL’s presencein the state and adds to its solar project pipeline.
