In March 2014, Schurter expanded its range of fuses with the launch of its SHF Fuse 6.3×32 model. The new model complements the existing Fuse 6.3×32 series that offers compact protection for 3-phase systems, providing a complete range in 10 rated currents from 1 A to 8 A. The new SHF Fuse 6.3×32 fills a gap in Schurter’s Fuse 6.3×32 product line and in the market. The features and dimensions of the Fuse 6.3×32 series are comparable to those with other 6.3×32 fuses and are similarly designed for a high breaking capacity of 1500 A at a rated voltage of 500 V AC. Besides a wide range of applications in the energy and industrial sectors, the SHF 6.3×32 is particularly well suited for the protection of 3-phase systems.
