Investing in GABIT, Bollywood star power meets health-tech as Ranbir Kapoor and Badshah pitch in to back its smart ring, AI coach, and holistic wellness ecosystem.
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and rapper Badshah has become an investor in GABIT, an Indian health-tech platform that combines wearables, coaching, and science-backed wellness products.
GABIT offers what it calls a ‘full-stack longevity ecosystem’. Its centrepiece is the GABIT smart ring, a titanium-built, water-resistant device with a 7-10-day battery life. The ring is paired with AI health coach PEP, personalised nutrition and fitness guidance, and a range of supplements and skincare products.
Earlier this year, the ring won the ‘Best Smart Ring of the Year’ title at Amazon India’s Best in Tech Awards 2025.
The company shared that this achievement signals strong celebrity confidence in their mission to make healthy living simple and sustainable. “Taking care of yourself should not feel like a full-time job,” said Ranbir Kapoor. “The GABIT Smart Ring fits into your life quietly. No fuss, no distractions, just results.”
Badshah added: “In my world, performance is everything – and it starts with health. GABIT understands that. It mixes technology, habit-building, and fun. That is why I wanted in.”
Founded in 2022 by Gaurav Gupta and Arpana Shahi, GABIT has already raised $9.5 million from Norwest Venture Partners. Other backers include industry leaders such as Amit Agarwal of Amazon, Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, and Kunal Shah of CRED.
The platform focuses on the four pillars of health: fitness, sleep, stress, and nutrition. Features like AI-powered food logging and real-time tracking give users a complete view of their wellbeing.
