Karnataka Signs Multiple Projects to Generate Over 28,000 Jobs

The majority of the projects are concentrated in the aerospace, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and general engineering sectors

The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) has recently signed 55 industrial projects with a combined investment of ₹7,506 crore. These projects can create more than 28,000 employment opportunities across Karnataka.

During the announcement, M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Karnataka, shared that 41 of the projects will be set up outside Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts. This step will strengthen the state’s ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ initiative.

Among the approved proposals, four involve foreign direct investment (FDI). Taiwan-based Teaming Automation will invest ₹20 crore, South Korea’s YJ Link ₹177.9 crore, Germany’s Revum ₹16.5 crore, and Japan-based Shinko ₹100 crore. Together, these investments amount to ₹314.4 crore and are expected to generate 503 jobs.

The majority of the projects are concentrated in the aerospace, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and general engineering sectors. Of the total approvals, 35 projects involve investments exceeding ₹50 crore each, while 15 projects fall within the ₹15 crore to ₹50 crore investment range. Additionally, five companies will undertake expansion projects involving a further investment of ₹223.61 crore.

Key investments include Kaynes Electronics’ ₹495-crore project in Chamarajanagar, SFO Technologies’ ₹490-crore facility in Doddaballapur, Orbit Industrial Parks’ ₹454-crore development in Kolar, Terra Circuits’ ₹441-crore project in Vijayapura, and Bellatrix Aerospace’s ₹404-crore investment in Bengaluru Rural.

Other notable proposals include JSW Port Logistics Pvt Ltd’s ₹380-crore investment in Ballari, Shahi Exports’ ₹337-crore project in Kalaburagi, Infragalaxy’s ₹300-crore investment in Dakshina Kannada, Hi-Tech Metallics’ ₹250-crore project in Vijayapura, Praxair India’s ₹210-crore facility in Hosakote, Sobha Realty’s ₹201.1-crore project in Bengaluru Urban, and RMZ’s ₹198.6-crore investment in M. Hosahalli, Hoskote.

The approved list also features Rhone Power’s ₹177.2-crore investment in Gadag, Vahini Polytech’s ₹170-crore project in Tumakuru, Aries Refinery’s ₹157.4-crore facility in Kolar, Jurozin Developers’ ₹137-crore project, Urbeno Realty’s ₹125-crore investment, Ayatana Hospitality’s ₹110.2-crore project in Kodagu, and Bulk Liquid Solutions’ ₹110-crore facility in Bengaluru Rural.

These project clearances showcase Karnataka’s dedicated focus on attracting investment in high-growth sectors while accelerating industrial development beyond the Bengaluru region.
