Aiming to make electric 3-wheelers more affordable and empowering drivers for a greener future, ETO Motors teams up with Uber to launch the ‘Drive to Own’ scheme in Hyderabad.
ETO Motors, an electric mobility company based in Hyderabad, has launched its ‘Drive to Own’ initiative in collaboration with Uber. The initiative aims to increase the adoption of electric 3-wheelers in the city.

According to the company, the scheme aligns with Telangana’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision to promote sustainable urban mobility. By offering a unique ownership model, it will further empower drivers and support the transition to eco-friendly transport.
The ‘Drive to Own’ scheme will allow drivers to own their electric vehicles over 36 months with no traditional EMIs, offering minimal upfront investment. Participants will also benefit from free maintenance and the flexibility of unlimited charging, reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
ETO Motors has also partnered with SETWIN to provide professional training for drivers, ensuring they are equipped to operate and maintain the vehicles efficiently. The company aims to onboard 2000 drivers within the next year, significantly contributing to Hyderabad’s push for sustainable urban transport.
Furthermore, in association with Uber, ETO Motors recently hosted a training session to highlight the benefits of electric vehicles, such as lower operational costs and environmental advantages. The event also recognised top-performing driver-partners who have contributed to the growth of the EV ecosystem.
Rajeev YSR, Group Chief Marketing Officer of ETO Motors, expressed enthusiasm about future collaborations, stating, “We look forward to engaging with Government organisations, NBFCs, corporate houses, and training partners to make electric vehicles a household story.”
