HCLTech, Arm, Partner to Revolutionise AI Workload

HCLTech and Arm collaborate to develop custom silicon chips to improve AI-driven business operations and enhance computing efficiency for semiconductor manufacturers, system OEMs, and cloud service providers.

HCL Technologies Ltd, an Indian information technology company (IT) based in Noida, announced a collaboration with Arm, a technology provider of processor IP, to develop custom silicon chips that support AI-driven business operations.

The partnership aims to enhance computing efficiency for semiconductor manufacturers, system OEMs and cloud services providers to improve the computing efficiency of their data centre environments and meet evolving customer demands.

HCLTech will use Arm’s Neoverse Compute Subsystems pre-integrated to help clients minimise development risks and swiftly deliver innovative, market-customised solutions for improved performance and scalability for AI workloads.

As a member of Arm Total Design, an ecosystem that brings together industry leaders to accelerate frictionless delivery of Arm-based custom silicon chips, HCLTech has preferential access to Neoverse CSS. This access empowers us to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies designed to efficiently manage AI workloads, including meeting the future demands of data centre environments. This strategic collaboration with Arm is a testament to our commitment to innovation and our confidence in our ability to deliver market-leading solutions.

Ameer Saithu, Executive Vice President of Engineering and R&D Services at HCLTech, expressed his optimism about the collaboration with Arm, stating that it will significantly contribute to the development of custom AI silicon solutions that address AI workloads in data centre environments. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to advancing technology and innovation in the semiconductor industry, and we are excited about the potential it holds.
