Novamax Technologies to Invest ₹200 Crore in New DMIC Plant

The upcoming plant is expected to become operational within the next two years

Novamax Technologies, a home appliances brand, is planning to invest ₹200 crore to establish a new manufacturing facility in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) as it expands into new consumer durable categories.

The upcoming plant is expected to become operational within the next two years and will support the company’s plans to manufacture products including air conditioners and washing machines. The facility is expected to create around 800 employment opportunities, comprising 350 direct and 450 indirect jobs.

The new facility will increase Novamax Technologies’ overall manufacturing capacity and allow the company to expand its product portfolio across multiple home appliance categories. The investment is also aimed at strengthening its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities as it grows in the consumer durables market.

Harshit Aggarwal, CEO and Founder, Novamax Technologies, said the DMIC facility marks an important step in the company’s growth journey and will help build stronger manufacturing capabilities as it enters new product categories.

The facility’s location within the DMIC is expected to provide the company with access to industrial infrastructure and connectivity, supporting manufacturing, logistics and supply-chain operations.

The new plant will complement Novamax Technologies’ existing manufacturing infrastructure, including its facility in Gorakhpur, which was established to strengthen its regional manufacturing capabilities.

With the ₹200-crore investment, Novamax Technologies aims to build a larger manufacturing base and support its expansion into additional home appliance categories.
