Focusing on diverse sectors like EV, air quality, and deep-tech, Panasonic, with T-Hub, announced four finalists of its Innovation Challenge to commercialise Nessum WIRE technology in India.
Panasonic, in partnership with India’s startup incubator T-Hub has announced the four finalists of its ‘Innovation Challenge.’
These startups—Ayka Control Systems, GoVidyouth Mobility, PureLogic Labs India, and Xeeed IO—will collaborate with the India Innovation Center (IIC) and Panasonic Holdings Corporation (PHD) to adopt and commercialise the Nessum WIRE technology in India.
The innovation challenge, launched in September 2024, invited global startups to explore the potential of Nessum WIRE, a cost-effective wired communication technology designed to address data communication needs in remote or challenging environments.
T-Hub has played a crucial role in evaluating 197 startups from India and beyond, narrowing the pool to eight high-potential candidates for Demo Day. The shortlisted startups presented their solutions, with the finalists selected based on their innovative potential. These companies represent a range of industries, from clean energy to deep-tech and air quality monitoring.
Ayka Control Systems specialises in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, while GoVidyouth Mobility focuses on making electric mobility affordable in emerging markets. PureLogic Labs India is dedicated to improving air quality, and Xeeed IO develops Industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies for the manufacturing and energy sectors.
Panasonic’s Head of Business Development, Saijo Hiroshi, expressed excitement about working with these startups, aligning their innovations with Panasonic’s customer-centric approach.
Mr. Manish Misra, Chief Innovation Officer at Panasonic Life Solutions India, emphasised the significance of the Nessum WIRE technology in India’s rapidly growing economy.
