Forging global ties in tech, Resolute teams up with China’s SixUnited to manufacture laptops, tablets, and PCs—bringing jobs and innovation to Telangana’s doorstep.
Hyderabad-based Resolute Group has entered into a partnership with Chinese firm SixUnited to begin joint manufacturing of personal computers, tablets, and laptops in Telangana.
The deal was signed during COMPUTEX Taipei, Taiwan. Senior representatives from both companies were present at the event, including SixUnited CEO Michael and Resolute Group Senior Vice President Sachin Batra. Telangana government official Narsimha Reddy also witnessed the signing.
According to Resolute Group, the collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to local employment and foster the transfer of advanced technologies to India. The initiative is also aligned with India’s broader goal of becoming a competitive hub for high-tech electronics manufacturing.
While the companies did not disclose the exact investment amount or anticipated production capacity, the move signals growing international interest in India’s electronics sector. Telangana, in particular, has been actively promoting itself as a destination for high-tech industries through various government initiatives.
This partnership could set the stage for future investments and technology collaborations between Indian and international firms, particularly in the consumer electronics and IT hardware sectors.
