V-Green and ChargeZone have launched co-branded charging stations aimed at improving EV accessibility across key routes and cities.
Vietnam-based EV infrastructure company V-Green has partnered with Indian charging operator ChargeZone to roll out a dedicated charging network for VinFast electric vehicles in India, marking VinFast’s first collaboration with a charge point operator in the country.
As part of the partnership, V-Green will oversee site identification and deployment planning, while ChargeZone will handle the installation, operation, and maintenance of the charging stations. The companies have already launched their first co-branded charging station in Vadodara, Gujarat, at Mangla Trade Hub near a VinFast dealership.
The newly opened station features a 60 kW DC fast charger with dual-gun capability, allowing two EVs to charge simultaneously. The partners said 15 co-branded charging stations are already operational across India, with plans to add nearly 100 more stations over the next six months.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening charging accessibility for VinFast customers as the Vietnamese EV maker prepares to expand its footprint in the Indian market. The network is expected to cover key urban and highway locations to support long-distance EV travel and improve charging convenience.
The move also aligns with VinFast’s broader India strategy, which includes local manufacturing and the development of an EV ecosystem. Earlier, V-Green had also partnered with HPCL to expand EV charging infrastructure across India.
ChargeZone currently operates one of India’s largest EV charging networks, with more than 13,500 charging points spread across multiple states and cities.
