Expanding its inductor offerings, Vishay adds over 2,000 SKUs while continuing to scale production capacity globally.
Vishay Intertechnology has successfully completed the expansion of its inductor and frequency control device (FCD) product lines, delivering over 2,000 new SKUs across nearly 100 series, with additional rollouts planned throughout 2025.
The expansion broadens component availability and simplifies sourcing for customers, offering wider inductance and voltage ranges, enhanced noise suppression, and additional size variations for compact PCB designs. Recent launches include wireless charging inductors, common-mode chokes, high-current ferrite impedance beads, TLVR inductors, and nearly 15 new FCD products.
“This expansion was designed to deliver on our commitment to give customers maximum design flexibility, and the market response has confirmed that we’ve hit the mark,” said Mike Husman, Senior Vice President, Inductor Division, at Vishay.
To support growing demand, Vishay continues to invest in global production, expanding facilities in Asia, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. As part of its vertically integrated manufacturing strategy, flagship IHLP® power inductors are now shipping from the La Laguna plant in Gómez Palacio, Durango.
With more product series scheduled for launch in 2025, Vishay expects to exceed 3,000 new SKUs across its inductor and FCD offerings, bolstering design activity in industrial, telecom, and consumer applications.
