Astute Group has signed a franchise deal with NoMIS Power, expanding global access to advanced Silicon Carbide semiconductors as industries push for high-efficiency, high-reliability power systems.

Astute Group has signed a franchise distribution agreement with NoMIS Power, giving global industries wider access to the company’s next-generation Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductor technology increasingly central to high-efficiency, high-reliability power systems. The partnership strengthens Astute’s power-electronics portfolio at a time when the aerospace, defence, transportation and energy sectors are pushing for compact, energy-dense systems that can operate under extreme conditions.
At the core of the deal is NoMIS Power’s vertically integrated SiC platform, spanning epitaxial wafer growth, device fabrication and high-density module packaging. The company’s devices are known for their switching efficiency, thermal stability and rugged reliability, attributes that enable faster, smaller and more efficient power systems than legacy silicon components.
Astute Group, which provides sourcing, logistics and engineering support for high-reliability industries, will now distribute NoMIS Power’s full SiC lineup. This includes MOSFETs, bare-die, discrete devices and modules covering voltage classes from 1.2 kV to 6.5 kV. These parts are engineered for harsh environments where power density, thermal resilience and consistent performance are mission-critical.
Both companies say the partnership is aimed at reducing technical and supply-chain barriers for organisations transitioning to SiC-based designs. For industries already operating at high temperatures or high switching frequencies, the shift to SiC offers clear gains in efficiency, weight reduction and system reliability.
Astute’s engineering teams will support customers with integration, lifecycle management and design guidance. NoMIS Power’s device portfolio features low specific on-resistance, strong short-circuit capability and advanced electro-thermal co-design specifications that position the technology for use in aviation powertrains, defence systems, renewable-energy converters, industrial automation and next-generation mobility applications.
The agreement also reflects the accelerating demand for wide-band-gap semiconductors globally, driven by electrification trends and the need for more efficient power infrastructure. By combining Astute’s supply-chain reach with NoMIS Power’s SiC expertise, the companies aim to speed up deployment of compact, energy-efficient power electronics across mission-critical sectors. The move positions Astute Group as a key channel for emerging SiC technologies, while giving NoMIS Power deeper market access as industries move toward high-temperature, high-efficiency power solutions.
