Providing access to advanced technologies and engineering expertise, Arrow Electronics has partnered with Asosiasi Startup for Industry Indonesia to support Indonesian tech startups.
US-based Arrow Electronics has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Asosiasi Startup for Industry Indonesia (STARFINDO) to support the growth of tech startups in maritime Southeast Asia, specifically Indonesia.
This partnership aims to provide startups access to advanced electronics technologies and essential engineering expertise, focusing on Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) and electric vehicle technology (EvTech).
Through this collaboration, startups will gain valuable resources, including funding, technical support, and opportunities to expand their market presence both domestically and internationally.
It also includes efforts to educate and support startups through various initiatives, such as a recent seminar on AIoT and EvTech held in Jakarta. During the event, experts from Arrow and other global technology suppliers, including Diodes, Inolux, Onsemi, Silicon Labs, STMicroelectronics, and Yageo Group, presented the latest market trends and showcased cutting-edge technologies through live demonstrations.
More than 90 attendees witnessed firsthand how these innovations can be applied in real-world settings.

Indonesia’s startup ecosystem ranked second in Southeast Asia in 2023, is seen as a key driver of innovation in the region. To sustain this growth, STARFINDO is focuses on a robust tech ecosystem by collaborating with government bodies, institutions, and the private sector.
Lukas Dedy Setiyawan, Chairman of STARFINDO, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating that it strengthens the local tech ecosystem by engaging various stakeholders, including the public and private sectors, which will ultimately accelerate innovation and growth across Indonesia and beyond.
