Partnership focuses on expanding advanced water purification systems for India’s fast growing semiconductor and pharma industries.
CN Water and Taiwan’s Taipure have entered a strategic partnership to jointly deliver ultrapure water (UPW) and water recycling solutions for India’s fast-growing semiconductor and other high-technology industries. The collaboration, formalised through an MoU, aims to support India’s expanding chip manufacturing ecosystem, where stringent UPW standards are crucial for production.
The partnership combines CN Water’s on-ground project execution capabilities with Taipure’s global experience in semiconductor-grade UPW system design and engineering. Both companies will jointly bid for and execute UPW and reclaim system projects across semiconductor fabs, green energy units, EV battery plants, and precision manufacturing clusters.
“As India scales up semiconductor investments, the demand for water systems that meet global purity benchmarks has become critical,” said Shoeb Kurawadwala, Founder and Managing Director, CN Water. He added that the alliance merges “local strength and global precision” to deliver end-to-end solutions tailored for high-performance industrial environments.
Taipure President Thomas Chen said India is emerging as one of the most important markets for high-purity water systems. “We are delighted to bring our technological expertise to India’s rapidly growing industrial ecosystem,” he said.
The companies will collaborate exclusively on select semiconductor-linked projects, reinforcing India’s ambition to build a robust and sustainable chip-manufacturing supply chain.
