Amid rising power instability, Calibre Interconnects launches a Made-in-India three-phase monitoring relay to protect industrial, infrastructure and renewable energy systems with faster fault detection.
Tamil Nadu-based firm Caliber Interconnect Solutions Private Limited has launched a new three-phase monitoring relay to strengthen electrical protection across India’s industrial and energy infrastructure. The India-designed device targets industries facing frequent voltage instability and power quality issues.
The company confirmed that the relay is built to support manufacturing plants, infrastructure projects and renewable energy installations where consistent electrical performance is critical.
Manufactured in India, the relay uses true root-mean-square (RMS) measurement technology to deliver accurate voltage monitoring, even under distorted or unstable power supply conditions.
It is designed for use in motors, generators, pumps, compressors, solar systems, and electrical panels.
According to the company, the relay continuously monitors all three electrical phases. It can detect common fault conditions, including overvoltage, undervoltage, phase imbalance, phase loss, and incorrect phase sequence.
These issues are a leading cause of equipment damage and unplanned downtime in industrial facilities.
Furthermore, configurable voltage thresholds allow users to tailor protection levels to specific applications. Visual LED indicators provide clear fault alerts at the control panel, enabling faster diagnosis and reducing response times for maintenance teams.
Safety and durability have been prioritised in the product’s design as well. The relay is housed in UL 94V-0 flame-retardant material and features a compact 19.1mm form factor. Its response time of less than two seconds makes it suitable for space-limited control panels and modern automation systems.
Suresh Babu, Managing Director of Caliber Interconnects, said the product reflects the growing demand for dependable electrical systems as the Indian industry accelerates electrification and automation. He added that reliable power protection is now essential for operational continuity.
The three-phase monitoring relay is available through the company’s Bengaluru and Coimbatore offices for customers across India.
