Boosting manufacturing capacity and jobs, Delta Electronics expands with two new factories at its Krishnagiri campus in Tamil Nadu.
Delta Electronics has expanded its footprint in Tamil Nadu by inaugurating two new factory buildings at its Krishnagiri facility. The development is part of the company’s proposed USD 500 million investment across India and strengthens its presence in the state, where it already operates four factories.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin laid the foundation for the new units on Thursday and lauded Delta’s role in the state’s growth. He urged the company to consider expanding operations into central and western Tamil Nadu and to establish a dedicated R&D centre to harness the region’s skilled talent pool.
The Krishnagiri campus is one of Delta’s largest manufacturing sites in India, producing high-efficiency power supplies, DC brushless fans, industrial automation systems, data centre infrastructure, telecom power solutions, and electric mobility components. The two new facilities will increase production capacity and support both domestic demand and exports.
Delta has also embedded sustainability and automation features into the expansion. The new smart factory lines integrate robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), inline management tools, and real-time equipment coordination, improving productivity and efficiency. The campus incorporates renewable energy sources such as solar rooftops and wind power, alongside rainwater harvesting, water treatment systems, and strict waste management practices.
