The expansion helps overcome capacity constraints at Harmony’s long-standing Banpong, Thailand, manufacturing facility
Harmony Electronics Corporation has recently shared that its manufacturing facility in Om Noi, Thailand, has entered mass production and is now fully prepared to serve customer audit and qualification activities, including sample support and supply transition requirements.
This major milestone showcases a huge expansion of Harmony Group’s overseas timing manufacturing footprint as the company approaches its 50th anniversary in late 2026.
The facility is equipped to support customer process audits, quality system assessments, and related documentation reviews. It has completed both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the ISO 9001 assessment, with formal certification confirmed for the second half of 2026. ISO 14001 certification activities are also currently underway.
“Our pursuit of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications within the first 12 months of mass production reflects Harmony’s expertise in manufacturing and our broader commitment to maintain agility within our international manufacturing network,” said C. Ching Yang, Chairman & General Manager of Harmony Electronics Corp. “As we continue to invest in innovation across our operations, we are focused on delivering responsible growth, stronger environmental performance, and long-term value for our customers worldwide.”
“The successful launch of our Om Noi facility represents a meaningful step forward in our commitment to supply chain resilience and customer support,” continued C. Ching Yang. “We have built this facility to the same rigorous standards our customers have relied on for decades, and we are proud that it is ready to deliver immediate economic scale and value as we head into the second half peak season.”
“As we prepare to celebrate 50 years of partnership with our customers around the world this year, we remain deeply committed to strengthening our manufacturing capabilities and delivering the stable, flexible, and reliable support that global businesses depend on,” said C. Ching Yang. “The Om Noi facility is a direct investment in the future growth of our customers and our continued promise to them.”
The expansion helps overcome capacity constraints at Harmony’s long-standing Banpong, Thailand, manufacturing facility, which has operated at near-full capacity in recent years. With demand patterns becoming increasingly dynamic ahead of H2 2026, the Om Noi plant will provide greater production flexibility while supporting stable supply and uninterrupted service for customers worldwide.
