As India’s electronics manufacturing sector is projected at $300 billion by 2026, Keysight Technologies announced plans to begin local manufacturing in India.
The electronic test & measurement company Keysight announced plans to start local manufacturing in India. The company said the move will help it serve industries like aerospace and defence, government R&D, industry and academic research institutions.

The company will be rolling out new facility in a phased manner, keeping their primary focus on test equipment.
Keysight aims to serve both Indian and global customers and enhance supply chain resilience.
This move also fulfils the government initiatives such as Make in India, Semicon India, the National Quantum Mission, as well as aerospace and defence modernisation programs.
Sudhir Tangri, Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific at Keysight said India is entering a once-in-a-generation innovation decade. “Building in India for the world will accelerate technology development across a broad spectrum of industries”, he added.
The manufacturing operations of the company in India will support innovation across Semiconductors, Quantum technologies, Aerospace, Defence, AI, Wireless sectors.
Company to enable design validation and production testing for Semiconductor industry under the Semicon India program. It will support research institutions and national laboratories advancing quantum computing under the National Quantum Mission.
A major part of this operation includes providing advanced, locally manufactured test solutions for radar, electronic warfare, and satellite systems to support India’s defence modernisation.
The company will also accelerate development and deployment of 5G and future 6G infrastructure in India.
Keysight also expects to collaborate with Government of India, research labs and engineering universities to accelerate technology development while India emerges as one of the world’s fastest-growing innovation economies.
