e-peas Achieves $22 Million to Diversify Its Product Portfolio

e-peas’ solutions are already being used in high-volume applications

e-peas, a Belgium-based semiconductor company, has recently earned USD 22 million in its new funding round. The funds will be used to accelerate the growth of its ultra-low-power energy harvesting technologies, expand services worldwide and make a strong position in the rapidly growing Ambient IoT market.

e-peas develops ultra-low-power energy harvesting and power management semiconductor solutions that enable electronic devices to operate using ambient energy sources such as light, radio frequency (RF) signals, vibration, and heat. The technology reduces or eliminates the need for disposable batteries, supporting the development of battery-free or long-life electronic products.

e-peas’ solutions are already being used in high-volume applications, including solar-powered remote controls, HVAC systems, cameras, and smart asset-tracking devices. This technology will increase the lifecycles of its products and minimise battery replacements, also helping lower maintenance costs, reduce electronic waste, and improve sustainability for device manufacturers and end users.

“The investment validates the company’s technology, strategy, and market momentum. He added that the capital will support commercial expansion, entry into high-growth markets, and the development of new products for a broader range of energy-autonomous applications,” said Geoffroy Gosset, CEO of e-peas.

“Our ambition is to make energy harvesting a standard design choice for sustainable electronics,” Gosset said.

The increasing demand for battery-independent and energy-efficient IoT devices continues to grow across consumer electronics, smart buildings, and industrial automation, positioning e-peas to further expand its footprint in the global Ambient IoT ecosystem, becomes the major reason of latest funding.
