Amid India’s growing focus on vehicle safety and localisation, Mobileye teams up with VVDN Technologies to bring advanced driver-assistance systems closer to Indian roads.
Mobileye, a global developer of advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving technologies, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with VVDN Technologies Pvt Ltd to localise its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) solutions for Indian automakers.
The agreement aims to combine Mobileye’s product expertise with VVDN’s engineering and manufacturing to support the introduction and local production of ADAS technologies in India. These include systems based on Mobileye’s EyeQ™ family of chips and related sensors.
The partnership comes at a time when India’s vehicle market is seeing growing interest in safety and automation, driven by regulatory updates and consumer awareness. The localisation effort is expected to help Indian manufacturers integrate ADAS features into domestic and export-oriented vehicle platforms.
“India is a strategic priority for us,” said Elie Luskin, Vice President of India for Mobileye. “This collaboration is an important step in building a local ecosystem that supports the wider adoption of safety and driver-assistance technologies,” he said.
Vivek Bansal, Founder and President of VVDN Technologies, said the partnership would “combine VVDN’s local engineering and manufacturing strength with Mobileye’s experience in ADAS,” helping Indian manufacturers access advanced automotive technologies.
Mobileye has deployed more than 200 million of its system-on-chips globally and supplies technology to a range of vehicle manufacturers. The company has been focusing on developing scalable ADAS and autonomous driving systems using artificial intelligence and computer vision.
VVDN, established in 2007, is an Indian Tier 1 engineering and manufacturing services company with facilities in Manesar, Gurugram, and Pollachi. It supports global customers across product design, testing, and mass production.
