Sigma works with global OEMs through long-term agreements and delegated programme responsibilities
Sigma Advanced Systems has signed a seven-year agreement worth nearly £300 million (around ₹3,800 crore) with Rolls-Royce to manufacture and supply a wide range of high-precision, safety-critical components and assemblies for its aerospace programmes.
The long-term contract is expected to provide steady revenue visibility and strengthen Sigma’s growth outlook. The partnership will be executed through the company’s manufacturing network spanning India and the United Kingdom, marking a programme-level collaboration between the two firms.
Building on an existing relationship, the agreement enhances Sigma’s role as an integrated manufacturing partner. With closer proximity to customers, deeper engineering collaboration, and programme alignment in the UK, the company aims to handle larger and more complex work packages.
Commenting on the development, CEO Sunil Kumar Kalidindi said the partnership validates Sigma’s investments in building a connected India–UK manufacturing platform and its focus on quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships. He added that the deal will help deepen the company’s participation in global aerospace programmes while scaling capabilities across both regions.
Sigma Advanced Systems, with over three decades of experience in aerospace and defence manufacturing, operates across India and the UK and is expanding into the United States. The company works with global OEMs through long-term agreements and delegated programme responsibilities.
