Nosh, developed by Euphotic Labs, is focused on creating a robo-chef appliance that prepares personalised meals from global cuisines. RayIoT, meanwhile, specialises in Wi-Fi-enabled devices that monitor health metrics such as breathing rate, fall detection, and mental health.

Alongside the winners, four other startups—Neosapien, YogiFi, Nutrichef, and Karban—received recognition in the Accelerate category. These companies will collaborate with Panasonic on pilot projects and potential partnerships.

The second edition of Panasonic Ignition, which launched last year, attracted 163 applications. The programme, supported by partners Beyond Next Ventures, Dentsu, and Zinnov, focuses on future consumer lifestyles, including smart living, personal wellness, and sustainability.

Twelve startups were shortlisted, including Wellnesys, Mave Health, and Avantari.

Kunio Gobara, Chief Transformation Officer at Panasonic, highlighted the importance of fostering innovation through the PKVF, which has allocated ¥8 billion (~INR 450 crore) to support global startups. He expressed excitement about collaborating with the winners to accelerate their growth.

“India’s vibrant startup ecosystem, with its deep technological expertise and problem-solving mindset, presents immense opportunities for collaboration. We are excited to support the winners in their journey, providing them with not only funding but also strategic guidance and access to Panasonic’s ecosystem to accelerate their growth and make a lasting impact in India and beyond,” he said.

“Their groundbreaking solutions promise to shape the next frontier of smart living—spanning connected spaces, sustainable technologies, and energy-efficient ecosystems,” he commented.

Tsuyoshi Ito, CEO of Beyond Next Ventures, praised the startups’ innovative solutions, which aim to enhance global consumer experiences in healthcare, wellness, and sustainability.
