Boosting Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing drive, Amber Electronics looks to make PCBs and home appliances in its planned facility near Noida Airport.
Amber Enterprises is planning a ₹60 billion investment to build a large-scale electronics manufacturing facility near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. Last week, the State Industrial Development Minister, Nand Gopal Gupta, announced the development following a meeting with Jasbir Singh, promoter of Amber Enterprises, in Lucknow.
As per the minister, the facility will house units for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs), manufacturing home appliances, and producing consumer electronics.
According to a report by The Economic Times, Gupta called the investment a milestone in the state’s industrial transformation, adding that it would open up new prospects for economic growth and job creation. He said that the initiative reflected the growing confidence of investors in Uttar Pradesh’s industrial policies and infrastructure.
To support the project, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a Letter of Intent for 100 acres of land (approximately 40.47 hectares) in Sector 8 of Noida.
The location, strategically positioned near the expressway and the upcoming Jewar airport, is expected to offer logistical and operational advantages.
The proposed facility is expected to play a key role in expanding the state’s electronics and white goods sector. Known for its manufacturing expertise in air conditioning and related electronics, the company’s expansion is likely to draw in allied industries and suppliers as well.
The state government has been actively promoting Uttar Pradesh as a prime destination for manufacturing and investment. This project is one of several large-scale investments being considered in the area surrounding the Jewar airport, which is fast becoming a magnet for industrial and commercial growth.
