Juniper Green Energy to Launch ₹18 Billion IPO on July 30 

The renewable energy developer will use the bulk of the IPO proceeds to reduce debt while expanding its growing portfolio of solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage projects.


The renewable energy developer plans to use most of the proceeds to reduce debt at both the parent company and its subsidiaries as it expands its clean energy portfolio.

Independent renewable energy producer Juniper Green Energy will open its ₹18 billion initial public offering (IPO) on July 30, with the issue closing on August 3, 2026. The company has fixed the price band at ₹214–225 per equity share, while anchor investor bidding is scheduled for July 29.

Investors can bid for a minimum of 66 equity shares, and thereafter in multiples of 66 shares. Eligible employees applying under the reserved category will receive a ₹21-per-share discount.

The company plans to utilize ₹6.83 billion from the IPO proceeds to repay or prepay a portion of its existing borrowings. Another ₹7.29 billion will be infused into subsidiaries—Juniper Green Gamma One, Juniper Green Kite, and Juniper Green Power Five—to help them reduce their outstanding debt. The remaining funds will be allocated for general corporate purposes.

The issue is being managed by ICICI Securities, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India), JM Financial, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company as the book-running lead managers.

Backed by Singapore-based AT Capital Group, Juniper Green Energy develops, builds, and operates utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects. As of June 2026, the company had an operational renewable energy capacity of 2409 MWp and 503 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity.

Chairperson Arvind Tiku said 83 per cent of the company’s portfolio consists of wind-solar hybrid or firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects. Including projects under construction, Juniper Green’s total portfolio has reached 10,247 MWp, supported by 4564 MWh of BESS capacity.

The company has secured grid connectivity for all under-construction projects and maintains a surplus grid allocation of 1688 MW. It also has a 12,000-acre (48.5sqkm) land bank and more than 300 wind turbine generator (WTG) locations earmarked for upcoming projects. According to Tiku, most of its operational projects have been commissioned ahead of schedule, with a weighted average execution lead time of 147 days.

Juniper Green reported total income of ₹8.05 billion in FY26, representing a 41 per cent year-on-year increase, reflecting continued growth in its renewable energy business.
